Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Civil Defence Union

The event takes place behind the VOKE Community Centre, in the MÁV bunker. The concrete block near the railway station isn’t decoration, but a real historical memory which provides authentic circumstances for an incredible adventure. Strange artifacts were gathered by the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Civil Defence Union. One could easily confuse the illustrations showcasing how to handle the water hose or the the bucket chain correctly or how to behave in case of fire can for old comic books. The inventory of the exhibition fabled throughout the country titled: “From Air-Raid Precautions to Civil Defence” includes armbands, medals, old documentaries, infant pouches equipped with a gas-filters, gas masks for babies, and mannequins in uniforms. The exhibition and programs can be visited on June 24 from 16:00 to 24:00.
