Vass Shoe Store / Modern Art Gallery - Vass László Collection
László Vass - founder of the world-famous Vass Shoes shoe manufactory - is known for his classic handmade men's shoes. Today, he can rightly be called one of the most important Hungarian art collectors thanks to his collection of Hungarian and international works.
This collection is the most important in Hungary of works by artists with a constructivist approach. The permanent collection includes works by Jenő Barcsay, István Haraszty, Francoise Morelett, Alan Charton, Max Bill and other important Hungarian and foreign artists.
This year the permanent exhibition will be expanded with a new unit, the Vass Shoe Store.
