Print with the Old Masters – Printing Workshop with Graphic Artist Zoltán Jánváry

Printing Renaissance woodcuts using period-accurate printing techniques, with a reconstructed press and wooden blocks. Alongside a page from the Vizsoly Bible and a detail from Dürer’s engraving of Erasmus of Rotterdam, visitors can try printing with two new blocks: the magic square from Dürer’s Melencolia I engraving, and a lion from Jan Jonston’s 17th century book on the animal kingdom.
