A cultural-historical tour involving the lotus decorated artefacts of the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts. The lecture aims to give an insight into the various aspects of the reverence of the lotus, delving into lotus poetry, lotus ornamentation, lotus metaphors, as well as gastronomic considerations of the lotus flower.
