We welcome all interested people to our special evening programme on 21 June 2025, as part of the Night of Museums programme at the Cinkota Country House!

Between 20:00 and 23:00, guided tours will show you the rooms of the house, the objects of the old times and the most beautiful pieces of local folk costumes and folk furniture. During the walk you will learn about the way of life of the former inhabitants of Cinkota and the country house, and the community spirit that made the collection possible.

The youngest visitors will also be entertained with a treasure hunt in the garden of the country house.

The country house is located in Cinkota, the oldest part of the XVI. district of Budapest. Despite its proximity to the capital, this area has long preserved its rural character. The result of the collection work started in the 1960s, the former farmer's house in Cinkota is a worthy home, which still preserves the atmosphere of the old times and gives a special insight into the everyday life of the former Cinkota.
