Csőre Gábor, a Múzeumok Éjszakája védnöke

This year, Erika Miklósa, holder of the Order of St. Stephen of Hungary, winner of the Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Prize, is the ambassador of the Night of Museums.

Erika will accompany you to exciting museums and unique exhibitions. You can watch the fun short films on Muzéj's Facebook and Instagram pages.

His many brilliant theatre, film and dubbing performances, together with  his demanding educational and, entertaining and informative programmes have made Gábor Csőre a household name in Hungary. He was delighted to be asked to be the face one of the country's most popular cultural programmes, as, in addition to scientific and historical topics, he is also interested in presenting artistic and cultural works and curiosities.

As a patron of the Night of Museums, Gábor is also promoting the event and offering special events for 22 June on Muzéj's Facebook and Instagram pages. In his short films, he takes us on a tour of the Esztergom Basilica and then gives us a taste of the treasures of the local Castle Museum. He follows a Chinese dancer to the St. Stephen Museum in Székesfehérvár, where he admires the artworks of ancient China, and later on he fights to the death for the glory of his homeland in the fake ruins of the Ruin Garden. Finally, with the help of Pál Győrfi, he saved the world's first ambulance at the Géza Kresz Ambulance Museum in Budapest.

This year again, institutions are preparing with special programmes for the country's biggest and most popular cultural event. Be part of this summer cultural cavalcade!
