Tatai Vár, Kuny Domokos Múzeum
Tata Castle has stood proudly above the Old Lake for over six centuries.
Today, it houses the Kuny Domokos Museum, where visitors can embark on a fascinating journey through time — from prehistoric ages and antiquity to the Middle Ages, and all the way to the final chapter of the Esterházy estate.
In addition to our permanent and temporary exhibitions, we offer both indoor and outdoor guided tours for all ages.
Our program calendar is constantly evolving, featuring suitcase theatre performances, educational workshops for schools, historical and literary evenings, the Museum Open University series, and many other inspiring time-travel experiences for children and adults alike.
