National Archives of Hungary
The building of the National Archives of Hungary was built on the northern side of the Buda Castle in a historical style after the architect Pecz Samu's plans. The building's structure and wall-paintings were finished in the 1920s. The institution safeguards the most important documents of the Hungarian history, such as documents of historical importance, noble families' archives, records of companies, associations. and state administrative bodies, in the size of about 83,000 linear metres.
