Have you ever heard the sound of a zither? In Szigetszentmiklós, this instrument has a strong tradition! Come and hear it live, and explore Imre Molnár’s zither collection at the Local History Collection!

Since 1998, this unique zither collection has been on display in the building of the City Library and Community Center. The instruments were donated to the town by renowned zither maker Imre Molnár. With over one hundred pieces and continuously growing, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look at the development of the traditional Hungarian zither and its international relatives.

On the occasion of the Night of Museums, a curated selection from the collection will be on display in the council room of the Local History Collection!

The exhibition is open from 5 PM to 10 PM! Admission is free!
