In Veszprém Castle, at 17 Vár Street, you can find the baroque annex of the former Simoga House, which in the past decades was known to the people of Veszprém as the location of the Art Café and later the Várkert Restaurant.
Thanks to the renovation and refurbishment works carried out as part of the infrastructural developments of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture programme, Veszprém has been enriched with a multifunctional facility operating on three levels, the FOTON Audiovisual Centre.
The basement of the building is home to the House of Arts Veszprém's digital creative workshop, the f|x|r media lab, where we hold workshops using and demonstrating innovative themes, new technologies and techniques.
These workshops will be presented continuously throughout the evening.
