Commemoration of ENDRE SZKÁROSI, intermedia artist, performer, sound poet and university teacher. with videos and performances by his colleagues, friends and students. Our program is dedicated to Endre Szkárosi’s oeuvre which is of decisive importance for 20th century Hungarian neo-avant garde literary and performance tradition. Among the performing artists will be internationally acclaimed poet-performer Katalin Ladik, as well as Kinga Tóth, winner of numerous international literary awards, and poet-aesthete Márió Z. Nemes. Szkárosi was famous for having joined the slam poetry movement in the 2010s, thus resonating with the activity of younger generations. The night will conclude with performances by contemporary slam poets, Bea Bánóczi, Márton Simon and Gergely Tengler "TG". Visuals by Dorottya Szonja Koltay.
