The History and Collections of the Dermatology Clinic of Pécs

The exhibition presents the history of the Dermatology Clinic, the work of its professors, the scientific and teaching work of the directors, and the buildings of the clinic from the time of the Elizabeth University in Bratislava to the present day in Pécs. Over the past 100 years, the staff of the clinic have built up significant collections, which have been used for research and teaching university students. In addition to the clinic's library and slide collection, a special collection of moulage has been created. The moulage collection contains wax models on which the skin symptoms of various skin and venereal diseases can be studied. In addition to educational tools, a small selection of microscopes, syringes, testing and measuring instruments are on display.
